Kayserberg
Kayserberg is one of the prettiest villages in Alsace with its cobbled streets and richly ornate half-timber houses.
Among the better-known monuments to visit are the ruins of Schlossberg Château which dominate the valley. The château gives its name to Kayserberg, which means "the emperor's mountain" in Alsatian.
Other places worth visiting are Saint Croix Church in the centre of the village and the house where the celebrated Dr Albert Schweizer was born.
